This quilt is constructed using recycled materials from previous season fabrics. We wanted to create something brand new out of materials and motifs seen throughout our collections. Each quilt was hand assembled in our partner workshop in India and features a custom psychedelic twist on traditional patchwork quilting.

This piece was produced in Madras, India, in a workshop that has dedicated 3 decades to high quality fabrics, crafted in working conditions of the utmost dignity. Melding the new (Japanese sewing machines) with the old (hand embroidery, hand loomed fabrics, natural dying) results in a product both timeless and contemporary.
The workshop partners with a rehabilitation center for women encountering domestic violence, and provides for its artisans an open air workshop, on-site day care, garden, and living wages.
