The Hand Crochet Cardigan features a chunky open knit Pima Cotton knit by hand over 72 hours per sweater by a women's collective in Lima, Peru. The cotton is chunky and weighty, yet breathable for easy layering over a t-shirt.

Pima cotton’s long fibers ensure unmatched softness, durability, and color hold. The textile is knit with hand-painted yarns, creating variations in each thread.

This sweater is made in partnership with Innovative, a woman-owned and operated workshop in Lima, Peru. Our shared belief in fair wages, dignified working conditions, and locally sourced yarns make them an ideal partner, aesthetically and ideologically. Our five year long relationship includes yearly workshop visits, where we collaborate on design and production of various alpaca blends.
