Lyocell is a natural fiber created by wood pulp. The resulting fabric is highly durable, with a soft, silk-like touch.

For 3 generations, OMTC has dedicated itself to high quality fabrics, crafted in working conditions of the utmost dignity. Melding the new (Japanese sewing machines) with the old (hand embroidery, hand loomed fabrics, natural dying) results in a product both timeless and contemporary.

Operating out of Madras, India, the workshop partners with a rehabilitation center for women encountering domestic violence, and provides for its artisans an open air workshop, on-site day care, garden, and living wages.
