Pima cotton is a high end variety of cotton consisting of longer fibers. It is soft, durable, and superior for holding colors. This textile is knit with hand-painted yarns, creating variations in each thread.
This cardigan is made in partnership with a woman owned and operated workshop in Lima, Peru that is focused on paying fair wages and creating a good working environment. We've worked with the team in Lima for about five years and visit the workshop once a year for design and production. The yarns are sourced locally and are focused on alpaca blends.
